Specializing in "School Year" care

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. Below is a broad description of my program and what I can offer to your family. Please call or email for availability. I look forward to answering any questions you may have and I hope I can be of service to your family.

Bright Beginnings Childcare provides safe, supportive care for small groups of infants and young children. I have an extensive supply of toys, books, puzzles, art materials, manipulatives, and outdoor equipment. Some of the favorites are the kitchen center, wooden dollhouse, duplo blocks and play dough. Each child has free access to his or her own supply of art tools and resources to use during the course of the day. One of our most anticipated activities is our annual raising and release of Painted Lady Butterflies. The children also love dancing with Santa and singing with the Easter Bunny during their yearly visits.

With an emphasis on literacy skills, children are encouraged to participate in many play activities designed to develop their small and large motor development, language, self-help, cognitive, emotional, and social skills. I utilize a daily curriculum that addresses the needs of each child. With more than 30 years of experience, I am a professional childcare provider with a strong working knowledge of the developmental stages of children.

The children love outdoor activities, including the water tables, swings, climbers and slides, in Bright Beginnings’ large, attractively fenced area in the backyard located adjacent to the playroom.

I believe that children deserve nurturing, stimulating childcare and that the experience must be responsive to the entire family. Each child is an individual with unique interests, likes and dislikes. Your child will have frequent opportunities for free choice and expression. I am here to work in partnership with your family as I provide care.
